Become Humane First

• the ability to speak and understand any language
• the ability to travel through time
• the ability to make any two people agree with each other

Choose any one. Why? This is like a boon and so you have to choose one. If given an opportunity to have a boon I would ask God to give me power so that I can understand and speak any language to have the ability to make people speaking different languages agree with each other and travel back in times to stop all the ill will that ever existed in the society. WISHFUL thinking.

Do we really need superpower be a superman or superwoman? Let us become humane first. Let us have the gift of listening and understanding. The only way to minimize the troubles that exist is education. Mind it education not degrees. Let Supermen and Superwomen remain in the comics of children. Dreaming of becoming a superpower led world to divided into two parts, building of nuclear arsenal enough to destroy whole world few times over. This urge of becoming super race has led to rise of terrorism while I understand no religion speaks of violence as a method of propagation of religious thought.

As we grow up we need to understand that everybody else has right to live a life of dignity. Let us help all those who have fallen behind to also come to higher levels. Lastly for myself I quote Vivekananda,
“I am glad I was born,
Glad I suffered so,
Glad I did make big blunders,
Glad to enter peace….”
